In solitude, I often find my days,
No laughter shared, no joyful, heartfelt praise,
A longing deep within, a quiet sound,
For friends to gather ’round, in friendship’s bound.
In solitude, the world seems cold and vast,
A longing for connections, strong and fast,
I yearn for voices, laughter, stories told,
To break the silence, fill the days with gold.
In silence, I reflect on friendships lost,
The bonds that faded, at a heavy cost,
But hope still lingers, like a distant star,
That in this loneliness, new friendships are.
I dream of moments shared, both big and small,
With friends who catch me if I start to fall,
To walk through life, hand in hand, side by side,
In their warm presence, I’d no longer hide.
I reach out to the universe’s embrace,
With hope that soon, I’ll find my rightful place,
Amongst companions true, both near and far,
To heal the longing of this lonely heart.
So here’s my wish, my earnest plea today,
For friends to join me on life’s winding way,
To share in joys and sorrows, highs and lows,
Together, through this journey, we’ll compose.
