Today was quite the adventure for our little family! We took a short trip, about 30 minutes away, to a nearby library for a special presentation by the fire department. The place was bustling with kids, all eager to learn and explore. The firefighters brought out their big, shiny fire truck, and it was a hit. The kids were thrilled, exploring the truck, touching the various gadgets and tools, and asking endless questions. It’s moments like these that remind me just how much I admire firefighters for their courage, bravery, and the incredible dedication they bring to such a demanding field.
After our morning excitement, we headed back home. The rest of the day doesn’t have much on the agenda, which is a welcome change sometimes. But, as any parent knows, even the quiet days can be full of surprises. Right now, Marwa, my three-year-old, is in the middle of a breakdown because she insists she doesn’t have enough toys for quiet time. As a mom, these moments always leave me questioning myself—am I handling this the right way? What is the best way? I’m still figuring it all out, just like every other parent out there.
I was hoping to introduce the letters A, C, and T to Marwa today, but with how things are going, it seems like a nap might be more beneficial. Sometimes, we just need to go with the flow and listen to what our little ones really need.
Later on this evening, my oldest, Maria, will be starting her online Arabic class again this year. She’s been looking forward to getting back into it, and I’m excited to see how much she progresses. It’s amazing watching her dive into learning a new language, and it makes me proud to see her enthusiasm for something so important and challenging.
So, that’s our day—an exciting start with fire trucks and a quieter, yet no less eventful, afternoon at home. Sometimes the most ordinary days are filled with the most unexpected little adventures, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Until next time, friends. Keep finding joy in the little moments!
